Q: Which browsers do you recommend for viewing your site?
A: Our site is designed for viewing with Internet Explorer 5.5 and above in
Microsoft Windows, Internet Explorer 5.x and above on Apple Macintosh OS 9.x and OS X, Safari 1.2x on Apple Macintosh OS X, and Netscape 7.1 and up in Microsoft Windows. AOL users will have best results using AOL 8 and above in Microsoft Windows. To optimize your online experience, we recommend that you use one of these browsers. Other browsers, including WebTV, may not support all of our site's features.
Q: I tried accessing parts of your site and received an error message about the page not being found. What does this mean?
A: Most likely, it means that you need to update your browser. To protect personal information that is passed back to us (including prescription refills and Publix Preschool Pals membership registration), we employ 128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, the most secure form of encryption for the Internet. Your browser version may only support 40-bit or 56-bit SSL, which is typically found in Internet Explorer earlier than version 5.0 and Netscape earlier than version 4.7.
AOL's default browser is Internet Explorer, though you may use other browsers with the service. To find out which version of Internet Explorer is being used within your version of AOL, go to AOL's help section.

Q: How can I get the lines and color bands to print out for Grocery List, Apron's recipes and the Event Planning Guides?
A: If you're using Internet Explorer as your browser, you'll need to enable printing background colors and images.
For Microsoft Windows: Go to your Start menu, then Settings, then Control Panel. Select Internet Options and go to the Advanced tab. Scroll down to the Printing section and enable the option to "Print background colors and images." Click OK. The change will take effect immediately.
For Macintosh OS: In Explorer, go to the File menu and click "print preview." Make sure the "Print Background" and "Print Images" options are checked. You'll need to review this every time you print.
Q: Who should I contact if I'm having site problems?
A: Send us an e-mail explaining what difficulties you're having. Please include as much detail as possible: what area of the site you were in, as well as what browser and computer platform you use.
Q: The printer-friendly version of My Grocery List does not show when I click the button.
A:
Various sections on our site use the web pop-up feature, which may be prohibited by many pop-up blockers. If you are using a pop-up blocker with your web browser, please enable pop-ups for www.publix.com. Please note that if you have two or more blockers active on your computer, for example a 3d-party browser tool bar and a commercial anti-virus/security
application, you may need to enable pop-ups for our web site in each blocker before they will actually work for you.
